Payment Authorization
When You Are Charged:
Your payment is authorized and captured in full at the time your order is placed. You will see the charge on your bank or card statement immediately after completing checkout.
Verification:
All transactions go through Shopify's built-in fraud detection. In rare cases, we may need to verify your identity or billing details before processing your order. If this applies to your order, our support team will contact you directly.
Billing Information
Please ensure that the billing name and address you enter at checkout match the details registered with your card issuer or payment provider. Mismatched billing information may result in a declined payment or a delay in processing your order.
We do not store your full card details. All payment data is handled securely by Shopify and the respective payment provider.
Taxes
How Tax Is Applied:
Taxes are not included in the prices displayed on our store. Where applicable, tax is calculated separately and added to your order total at checkout based on your shipping address and local tax regulations.
Tax on Shipping:
We do not charge tax on shipping. Shipping is offered free of charge on all orders and no shipping tax is applied.
Transparency:
Any applicable tax amount will be clearly shown on the checkout page before you confirm your payment, so there are no surprises at the point of purchase.
Payment Security
- All transactions on Fineyst Jackets are processed through Shopify's secure checkout infrastructure, which is SSL encrypted and fully PCI DSS compliant.
- Your payment information is never stored on our servers. It is transmitted directly and securely to the payment processor.
- We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and financial data at every step of the checkout process.
Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be placed and you will not be charged. Common reasons for a declined payment include:
- Incorrect card details (number, expiry date, or CVV)
- Billing address does not match card records
- Insufficient funds or credit limit reached
- Card blocked for international or online transactions
- Bank-level fraud prevention hold
If your payment fails, please double-check your details and try again, or contact your bank. You are also welcome to try an alternative payment method. For further assistance, reach out to our support team.
Order Confirmation
Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email at the address provided during checkout. This email will include your order number, a summary of the items purchased, the total amount charged, and your estimated delivery window.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder, or contact us and we will resend it.
Refunds
Approved refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at checkout. The timeline is as follows:
- Inspection Period: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it within 3–5 business days.
- Refund Processing: If approved, the refund will be issued within 5–7 business days of approval.
- Bank Processing: Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement.
